A highlight of working at Westmoor is the scenery and surrounding nature. We have great walking trails, access to a beautiful golf course, and ample opportunity for outdoor activities. However, these amenities come with wild animals including mice, rabbits, snakes, and raccoons. Please be advised when walking through the grassy areas surrounding our buildings you might encounter more than golf balls and a great view. Please be sure to watch where you are walking to avoid an unpleasant encounter with our local wildlife. The best way to avoid incidents with wildlife is to leave them alone.
We are fortunate to be surrounded by stunning natural habitats. The Walnut Creek Golf Preserve is an Audubon International Certified Signature Sanctuary and is home to more than 77 wildlife species. The course's bird population is particularly diverse with bald eagles and great horned owls among the 50 resident species. Several of the species have been spotted by tenants at Westmoor Place.
